´Como la Luna y el Sol' [Like the Sun and the Moon] is her new album. A piece of work personally inspired by the ancient Sephardic culture born in Spain. With a unique display of world instruments and sound, her work is based on al old verse from a traditional Turkish song that symbolizes our relationships with all those we love and follow and with those that remain unreachable.

In a particular salute to the Spanish town of Toledo, Ana Alcaide renews the Sephardic tradition by adding her own style to songs that have remained within this culture since the middle Ages. Melodies that come from Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Morocco, Turkey, Bulgaria, and whose stories are told through Judeo-Spanish, a language born in Medieval Spain and spoken by the Sephardic people.

This piece of work was produced by Carlos Beceiro (La Musgaña) and by Ana herself as part of her degree while studying in the University of Lund (Sweden). For nearly one year, Ana studied the traditional music and Sephardic culture. She began writing songs at home on her computer, mixing traditional music with her own style. The material was then later shaped and developed in a recording studio to then be put on disc in which her vocals and viola are the protagonists.
